For more than 35 years, Michelle’s Bakery has been offering delicious cakes, cookies, and cupcakes in Redlands, California and surrounding areas. Our cakes, which are made with real butter and fresh eggs and fruits, are perfect for any of your special events.
Our professional and loyal team is dedicated to providing one-of-a-kind desserts, baked fresh with only the highest-quality ingredients, and consistently making customized sweets and daily treats the centerpiece of celebrations for all generations.
Founder Michelle Faraj started her career in the culinary arts at the young age of 17. Her first job was at Michael’s Restaurant in Santa Monica where she learned from some of the best chefs in the country. Michelle’s passion for food and her craft then took her to France to study under world-famous Madeleine Kamman. There, she developed the foundation that would allow her to create exceptional food for decades to come.
When she returned to the United States, she became part of the staff that opened the original Wolfgang Puck restaurant, Spago, on the Sunset Strip. She moved up the ranks and once again worked under and learned from some of today’s most renowned chefs.
In 1984, Michelle got married, moved with her husband to Yucaipa to raise her family, and built several businesses along the way. She started by baking cakes and desserts for local restaurants that were hungry for the level of quality and creative baked goods Michelle could provide. The Raspberry Victorian was the first of her signature desserts.
Michelle’s Bakery was established in 1982 at its first location in the Inland Empire in Yucaipa. Over the decades, we have become an award-winning (see list of awards below) and one-of-a kind bakery. We are known for our European desserts and DREAM wedding cakes.
